"We've really become a small little gem in the Town of Westport," said Mike Aitkenhead, Farm Steward and Program Director of Wakeman Town Farm.
Old fashion fun came to a farm in Westport Sunday afternoon.
"My favorite part is the swing that we only bring out in the summer time," said Ethan.
"My favorite part is feeding the goats," said Cammie.
Wakeman Town Farm hosted their third annual Family Fun Day complete games, activities and lots of animals.
"We usually do said Aitkenhead.
" I really like animals so it's fun to come to the farm,"said Maya.
Farmer Mike, as the kids call him, says events like these are important for the town.
"Farms have sort of dwindled in this part of the country and we're trying to reconnect people with where they get their food and understanding the importance of local, healthy organic produce towards a healthier life.
