It’s much more than a place you grab a cup a joe.
"You walk in - you know people, you recognize people," said Breanna Brandon.
"Just a place where people can come a be themselves," said Daniel Recinos.
It already proved to be a success at five other locations throughout the Midwest. And back in January, the Idaho based company arrived in Westport.
"It's not necessarily about selling a product, it's about selling a community," said Brandon.
Today Java features a large selection of coffees and a full scale breakfast and lunch menu. But, Java isn’t just a breakfast and lunch spot, and it’s now offering a new set of activites and attractions to prove that.
"Recently we just did our Java movie night," said Recinos. "And, we have an idea of doing an art night. When an artist will come out and showcase their work all month," said Recinos.
"We want to help the local community, help the artists, have you kids come to a movie night, make a memory," said Brandon.
For some, you’ll soon be able to get that spirit without having to leave your desk. Java will soon begin a delivery service for its coffee to any nearby Westport business. And the best part? There’s no delivery fee.
